About the Trainer

Shweta Srinivaz

Startup Founder, and Certified Yoga Trainer

With over 15 years of experience in management consulting and the startup ecosystem, she has worked closely with CEOs and senior leadership teams—navigating complexity, driving transformation, and operating in environments where performance, pace, and pressure are constant. This experience has given her a nuanced understanding of ambition, responsibility, and the often unseen cost of sustained high performance. Her journey into teaching yoga began during COVID, as a way to bring people together in a time of uncertainty and isolation. What started as a small, local practice to support physical and mental well-being gradually evolved into a deeply connected and growing community. As someone who has been practicing since she was 8, growing up in India. Yoga has been her way of life. Her teaching is rooted in making yoga practical, simple, and accessible, integrating it into the rhythm of everyday living rather than confining it to ideal settings. She believes that meaningful transformation comes not from intensity, but from consistency and awareness woven into daily life.Over decades of personal practice and inner work, her exploration of yoga has deepened into an experience of silence— as a powerful pathway to clarity, steadiness, and self-connection. Through her work, she creates spaces where high-performing individuals can step away from constant doing and reconnect with a quieter, more grounded source of energy and insight. Her work today sits at the intersection of these two worlds—bringing together the discipline of high performance with the depth of yogic practice—to support leaders in finding balance, clarity, and a more sustainable way of being

Your Growth Toolkit

Video

If you're dealing with that heavy, "out-of-the-blue" tension now or have in the past... It’s a frustrating feeling, but honestly, it’s a very common human experience. Sometimes our nervous system picks up a "scent" of stress before our conscious mind even identifies the source.

Here are Microskills to Practice
These are "micro" because they don't require a lifestyle overhaul—just a few moments of intentionality.

1: Mind-Body Breathing (The "Sigh" Method)

  • In yoga and breathwork, the exhale is the "brake" for your nervous system. Try the Physiological Sigh: Inhale deeply through the nose, add a second short "sip" of air at the very top to fully inflate the lungs, then exhale through the mouth with a long, slow whoosh. Do this 3 times.

2: Questions for Self-Reflection

  • When you feel untethered, these questions help bridge the gap between your physical sensations and your thoughts:

"Was there a 'delayed fuse' event recently?"

  • Look back at today, yesterday, or even last week. Did you brush off a rude comment, ignore a looming deadline, or suppress a boundary violation? Sometimes anxiety waits until you are "safe" and quiet to finally show up.

"Where is this living in my body right now?"

  • Scan yourself. Is it a fluttering in the chest, a knot in the stomach, or clenched teeth? Identifying the physical location shifts you from being the anxiety to observing it.

"Is this a 'Now' problem or a 'Later' problem?"

  • Ask if there is an immediate action you can take in the next 5 minutes. If there isn't, recognize that your brain is trying to solve a future problem with present-moment energy—which is why it feels so draining.

3: The Actionable ResetThis skill bridges the gap between your self-reflection questions and a tangible sense of relief.

  • Categorize the "Now": Once you've asked your reflection questions, identify one sliver of the anxiety that is tied to a current task. (Example: "I'm anxious about my finances" becomes "I haven't checked my bank balance today.")

  • The "Two-Minute" Solve: Find a solution that takes less than 120 seconds. This isn't about solving the big life problem; it’s about proving to your nervous system that you are in control of your immediate environment.

  • Physical Completion: Once that tiny task is done, take one intentional breath to "seal" the shift from worrying to doing.

You're in. Welcome to Rooted Growth.

You've just taken a powerful step toward showing up differently — for yourself, your work, and the people you love. We can't wait to hold space for you at the retreat.
In the meantime, if you have any questions at all, we're here and happy to help.
